Meet Allie & John! I loved spending time with these two during their engagement session recently. These two are the sweetest! We laughed, we smiled, we joked, and we enjoyed the night!

When Allie reached out to me about photographing her wedding one of the things she said that stuck out to me the most was, “The Lord is central in our relationship and we wish to reflect that devotion as explicitly as possible in how we carry out our wedding ceremony.” Just from that, I knew I wanted to photograph her and John’s day. Preserving those memories of such an important time for them as beautifully as I can!

Allie & John met their freshman year at a Cru event. Their friendship grew for about two or so years after that! John finally got up the courage to ask Allie out in October of their Junior year of college. But, plot twist – she turned him down!! In the following months though, she had a change of heart and expressed her feelings to him in January of 2018, then he turned her down!! But, finally (the next day actually) they decided to give it a shot, and after a month or so of going on dates and getting to know one another more deeply, they began officially dating on February 25, 2018. Now, three years later they are planning their wedding!

I can’t thank these two enough for allowing me to be a part of this season of life for them. Getting to document this time, and soon their wedding day, is the greatest joy! I hope you all love these images as much as I do and that Allie & John can cherish them in the years to come!
