Christine + Eric’s wedding day was gorgeous! It may not have been what they planned, but it was something out of a fairytale. Christine and I met when she was a bridesmaid for a past wedding I photographed. I actually remember saying to her “you are seriously so pretty, your future wedding photographer is so lucky.” And guess what?! I got to be that wedding photographer! How lucky am I?!

The two were originally getting married in Charlottesville, but due to COVID that changed. They said their I do’s on private property near Raleigh. The funniest part is, the property is actually owned by Christine’s dentist! It was overcast and looked like it was going to rain the entire day, BUT it held off just for us. All around us it rained, but not a drop touched the bride + groom! Which was good because Christine looked absolutely gorgeous. Ashley Frost helped her get ALL dolled up for the day. She was amazing and even stuck around for a few extra hours to help with any touch-ups Christine needed. Not only was Ashley great at hair and makeup but she was also the BEST hype woman. She stood behind me while I was shooting, danced, and made Christine and Eric laugh. I’ve decided that I need her there at every wedding going forward! I also can’t help but give Abby a shoutout for the beautiful florals!!! She totally killed it!

I remember when Christine, Eric and I first started talking about their wedding day, Christine share that “most of all I want people to know that we are getting married for the Lord and because of the Lord.” And while some of the other details and priorities she had for the big day weren’t met due to COVID, this one definitely was. The wedding definitely honored God and it was such an encouraging, loving, and sweet wedding to be a part of. From getting ready to becoming husband and wife, all the way to dancing the night away at the Carolina Inn it was a beautiful day. Every person from family to vendors pitched in to make this a memorable day for Christine + Eric!

Christine + Eric, I feel beyond honored that I was able to capture your wedding day. Due to COVID many of their loved ones weren’t able to attend. So, being able to be there for you both was so special to me! From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
